We all are given both gifts and struggles in life. The quality of our life experience is nourished by the way we strengthen these gifts and adapt to the challenges life presents us. Oftentimes times these gifts aren’t immediately apparent, they are discovered over time. Many of these gifts can be born out of our suffering which requires a restructuring of the way we relate to various facets of ourselves, others, and the givens of life. Cultivating self-compassion, acceptance, and self-agency are key to yielding satisfaction in life and its inherent complexities. This journey is unique for all but one that has great potential to open our hearts and understand what it means to live in a way that affirms life. This reminds us of who we truly are.
